Tuesday Night League Details

CCMGA also offers a Tuesday Night League (TNL) which hosts a weekly 9-hole team match play throughout the summer.  You may join an existing team or create a team of your own.  Please note, TNL has a maximum 32 teams due to daylight restrictions at the end of the season. Returning teams are given priority over new teams, and there may or may not be openings for new teams each year.  The TNL concludes in early September with a 16-team single elimination bracket playoff.

New members are always welcome and encouraged to join TNL.  You will meet a lot of new people who share the same passion for the game, and enjoy some competitive golf during the week.  If you are a new member, and want to join TNL, and are not able to start a new team, you are encouraged to get on the Sub List. Subs fill in for teams that need players, and are requested nearly every week of the season. Being a sub is a great way to get to know players, potentially join an existing team, and is how many new players get on a team for the following year.

  • You must be a member of CCMGA to participate in TNL.
  • TNL Registration - $120 per team.
  • TNL is a team match play league that runs from May to August.
  • Join an existing team, build your own team, or start as a sub.
  • Two members from each team compete each week in 9-hole match play format.
  • There are two divisions of 16 teams who compete for the top 8 playoff spots in each division.
  • Teams are competing for a maximum of 3-points per week.  (1 point per player & 1 point per team)
  • Team cumulative points determine division rankings.
  • Weekly results posted via email from the League Commissioner.
  • Playoffs start in August between the top 8 teams in each division.

Player of the Year Award (POY)

The Player of the Year Award is one of the most coveted and difficult awards to win.  Each player is awarded points for each tournament in which they participate. Players who place receive additional POY points, and tournament winners receive the maximum number of points per tournament.  Two-day tournament participants and players who place are awarded double points.  The Player of Year Award is presented at the Club Championship awards ceremony at the end of the season.

Individual & Team Match Play Tournaments

Two more fun options offered for CCMGA members are the match play tournaments.  Signups will be sent out in early April through Golf Genius.  They are single elimination tournaments and played throughout the season.  After registration, each player/team will receive a link to the tournament brackets.  Each match is set up by the individual players and much be completed by a date designed by the Tournament Commissioner.  Details below for each tournament.

Individual Match Play

  • Entry fee is $25.
  • 64-man bracket.

Season Team Match Play

  • Entry fee is $25 per player/$50 per team.
  • 32-team bracket.

Club Championship

The CCMGA Club Championship is one of our most unique tournaments.  This three-day, fifty-four hole event is one of the only three-day club championship events in Colorado. Any CCMGA member in good standing and meeting all other aspects of the club and membership requirements may participate in the Club Championship, if he has an established GHIN handicap index, AND has played in at least three CCMGA sanctioned tournaments prior to the Club Championship.

Event Registration and Cancellation Policy

We do our best to open tournament registrations three weeks in advance of the tournament date.  All registrations will close promptly at 7:00 PM on the Monday prior to the event.  Any required information in the registration announcement shall be submitted to the event communication manager by close of registration.  Late requests will not be acknowledged and failure to provide required information may result in default league options or loss of your spot in the event.

Registration refunds will ONLY be issued with 48 hours or more cancellation notice.  This is due to the difficulty in finding replacements and/or impacts on already finalized event setup.  In team events, your cancellation may also result in your partner’s cancellation.  Changes to the event after registration closes will be at the sole discretion of the tournament manager.
