You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.
GROOVE CONDITION OF COMPETITION: The player’s clubs must conform to the groove and punch mark specifications in the Rules of Golf that are effective from January 1, 2010.

PRACTICE ROUND: Port Huron GC does not take specific tee times, but practice rounds will be available to all competitors next week. Please call (810) 385-3881 in advance and the staff will let you know the best available times to play on each day. Projected yardages are available here.
GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: The following Rule applies to players, as well as caddies, in the competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4. 3a(1) and subject to the general penalty. If the player then continues to use the device, the player is subject to disqualification.
FOOD: The course will have food available for purchase. Bottled water will be provided on the starting hole.
CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. Contestants may carry their own bag or bring their own caddie. Caddies must also walk. Parents, step-parents, or guardians CANNOT be caddies for their own child. Pull carts may be used at the host facility. Spectator carts are NOT permitted in USGA Qualifiers.
PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only. Open one hour before the first tee time.
QUALIFYING SPOTS: 3
PLAYOFF: In case of ties, there will be a sudden-victory playoff immediately following play for the final spot as well as the order for the two (2) alternate positions.
WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, please contact the USGA at champs@usga.org and the GAM at tournaments@gam.org leading up to the tournament. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future USGA and GAM competitions.
