INFORMATION:

TOURNAMENT DATE: Saturday, September 30 – Sunday, October 1

TEE TIMES: You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

PRACTICE ROUND:  Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (517) 355-1635.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Junior Invitational contestants.

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS:  In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4-3, for which the penalty is the GENERAL PENALTY for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the round.

FOOD:  A meal will be provided after the first round on September 17. Other food and beverage may be purchased at the snack shop.

CADDIES/CARTS:  All players are required to walk. Contestants must carry their own bag, caddies are not permitted. Push carts may be used. Spectator carts are only permitted if a request, accompanied by a doctor’s note confirming the spectator’s need for a cart, is submitted to the GAM.

PRACTICE RANGE:  Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only. The driving range will open 60 minutes before the first tee time and is located at Forest Akers East. 

PLAYOFF: A playoff for the Championship will take place immediately after the final scores have been posted. It is the player’s responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee.
