PROCEDURES GOVERNING MEN’S GOLF ASSOCIATION EVENTS

 

Eligibility- Members with a Full Golf Membership or a Sports Membership at Bent Creek CC and who are members of the MGA will be eligible to participate in these events.

Registration Opening and Deadline- Online registration for Club MGA events will open approximately 6 weeks prior to the event start date for Full Golf Members.  Sports Members can sign up 15 days after online registration opens. An online registration will always generate a confirmation email, which should be kept by the participant. After the close of online registration, requests to participate (or to be added to the waiting list) can be made only by calling the Pro Shop.

Priority of Participation- It is the intent of Golf Operations to accommodate the participation of as many members as possible without negatively impacting event quality or pace of play for all contestants. Typically, the field for MGA events will be limited to a maximum of 120 players (60 teams). Additional participants will be considered on a first come, first served basis, and determined after consultation with the Golf Committee Chairman.

If more than the maximum number of participants is reached, a waiting list will be established and kept by the Pro Shop. Additionally, the following priority will be used to determine the final field of participants:

1. Full Golf Members who are members of the MGA

2. Sports Members who are members of the MGA
