When signing up for the Two Man Tournament your partner must be a registered Member of the BNGA. You will select them from the drop down Member Selection. You will pay for both Entry Fees. You can then collect the differing balance from said partner later on.

 

2023 BNGA Two-Man Rules

• Qualifying is 18 holes of stroke play on either Friday or Saturday of July 7th and July 8th.
• The one ball rule is not in effect.
• Qualifying Tees:  Open Division à BLUE tees.  Senior Division à WHITE tees.
• USGA rules will govern play, local rules prevail.  The following are exceptions to the USGA rules:
• The ball is to be played up everywhere (lift, clean and place) within 1 scorecard length, no closer to the hole, and must stay in like conditions (you can’t move it from rough to fairway, fairway to green, penalty area to not a penalty area, out of a bunker etc.).  This including hazards (except O.B.)
• You may stand behind your own partner and line them up.
• If in doubt of a ruling, play two balls and record both scores.  A decision will be by the pro shop staff. 
• Measuring devices meeting USGA guidelines (distance only, no slope/wind) are allowed.
• Turn your scorecard (with your and the team that kept your score) in the clubhouse.
• Once a ball is in the hole, that is the score of the team (after 1st player putts, mark it, don’t tap it in until both players have attempted the putt).
• LOCAL rules:  Drop areas exist on holes 11 and 17. 

 

• Everyone who provided an email will receive links to the brackets and contact information.
• Otherwise, the brackets will be on www.bnga.golfgenius.org 

 

Matches

• Match Play Tees:  Open Division à Prairie Vista tees.  Other Open:  White.  Senior Champ:  Whites. Other Senior: Yellow
• If the teams are tied at the end of 18, go to the first tee.  If it is open, play from there. Otherwise, ask the pro shop.
• One Team will be responsible for logging the match results in the Golf Genius App
