2023 Club Championship

August 11-13, 2023

 

FORMAT:

Friday Qualifying for top 12 positions in the Championship Flight. Qualifiers will play in a Match Play bracket on Saturday & Sunday. Championship Flight play is from the Blue Tees. 

All players who do not qualify for the Match Play or elect to not attempt to qualify will play from the White Tees for 36 Holes on Saturday & Sunday. All Players not qualifying will be placed in Flights based on Handicap Index.

Senior Club Championship will be 36 Hole Stroke Play. There will be two divisions 60-69 years old and 70 & Over. All play for Seniors will be from the Yellow Tees.

Ladies Club Championship will be one round of stroke play qualifying on Saturday & the top two (2) will play a Championship Match on Sunday. All play for Ladies will be from the Red Tees.

 

RULES:

All USGA Rules will govern play unless modified by a Local Rule. A complete list of all Local Rules will be attached.

 

TEES:

Men's Championship Flight will be played from the Blue Tee Markers.

Men's Flights will be played from the White Tee Markers.

Senior Championship will be played from the Yellow Tee Markers.

Ladies Championship will be played from the Red Tee Markers.

 

MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP:

Individual Stroke Play Qualifying on Friday. Top 12 individuals will qualify with the Top 4 receiving a bye in the first round.

Saturday Morning matches will be starting at 8:00am.

#5 v #12, #6 v #11, #7 v #10, #8 v #9

 

Saturday Afternoon matches will be starting at 1:30pm.

#1  vs Highest Remaining Seed

#2 vs 2nd Highest Remaining Seed

#3 vs 3rd Highest Remaining Seed

#4 vs 4th Highest Remaining Seed

 

Sunday Morning will be the Semi-Final matches starting at 8:00am.

Championship Match will be 18 Holes starting at 1:30pm.

 

HANDICAPS:

All Play is Gross Scoring, Handicaps are used for Men's Flighting purposes, and Senior Net Championship.

 

PRIZES:

  Prizes will be awarded to approximately 1/3 of the field.   

 

 

YEAR END SHOOT-OUT:

Points will be Doubled for this Event

Points will be awarded to the Top Four players in the Championship Flight

Points will be awarded to other Championships based on number of Participants

 

SCORING:

All scoring will be Gross with the exception of the Senior Divisions, there will be gross and net

 

SCORE POSTING:

A Member of the Golf Professional Staff will post scores
