Welcome to the Arrowhead Invitational

 

Welcome to the First Cummaquid Arrowhead Invitational. The event will consist of two man teams competing against the field in a two day event.

 

FORMAT: 

 

Play with be from the Blue Tees.

Mark, Lift, Clean & Place - One Club length in own fairway, both days.

Saturday - 18 Holes Fourball (Gross & Net - 85% handicap). TEE TIMES

 

Sunday -  18 Holes Selected Drive Alternate Shot (Gross & Net - 40% Combined Handicap).

                 Sunday pairings according to Saturday scores, SHOTGUN START at 9:00am.

 

Grab and Go lunch provided each day.

Gross and net prizes will be awarded.  The low two-day total will determine the winners.

USGA method used to break all ties using Sunday scores.

 

Please check in at-least 15 minutes before your tee time. The Pro Shop will be organizing an optional Gross & Net Skins game (Tournament Handicap)  - One time entry of $80 per team - Skins paid out daily!

 

You and your partner will have the same golf cart for both days. If you are interested, you may leave your clubs on your golf cart. Your clubs will be cleaned and safely stored overnight.

 

LOCAL RULES:

 

Cummaquid GC has a good neighbor policy. We ask if you hit a ball into our neighbor’s yard, please leave the ball. DO NOT RETRIEVE OR PLAY BALL.

 
Hole #2: If your ball comes to rest inside the white line behind the pumphouse, you are entitled to free relief, drop circle to right.

 

All red staked areas with green tips are Lateral Penalty areas that are environmentally Sensitive. Please do not retrieve your ball. Take relief under Penalty of one stroke.

 

Immovable Obstructions Close to Putting Greens - Sprinkler Head Rule

In addition to the types of interference described in Rule 16.1a, when a ball lies in the general area, interference also exists if an immovable obstruction is: on the player’s line of play, is within two club-lengths of the putting green, and is within two club-lengths of the ball.  The player may take relief under Rule 16.1b. (Exception – There is no relief under this Local Rule if the player chooses a line of play that is clearly unreasonable.)
