Welcome to the 2023 Tuesday 18-Hole Men's League at Perham Lakeside!
The League format will remain consistent with the 2022 league format. Tuesday league rounds will be played at 9:00am with a Shotgun Start. The majority of play will be on the Oak/Maple course.
The year long league fee will be $60 and must be paid at the Pro Shop prior to your first week of play. The format, for those unfamiliar, is Stableford points scoring played at Net based on GHIN index. All players must keep and maintain a GHIN handicap. League round scores will be posted by the Pro Shop at the completion of play weekly. Stableford points will be based on the following:
4 points = Net Eagle
3 points = Net Birdie
2 points = Net Par
1 point = Net Bogey
0 points = Net Double Bogey or higher
You will play this format every week and try to accumulate as many points as you can over the two-half season. The year will be split in to two halves, where points will reset after the 1st half and divisions may be recalculated as well. The league fees collected will be paid out based on standings after each half of the season. If you can only play in 1 of the two halves of the season, you are more than welcome to do so - however the league fee will remain at $60.
Players will be split in to divisions based off of handicap prior to the season beginning. The amount of divisions will depend on the amount of players for the half. After the 1st half of the season is over, there will be a reshuffle of divisions based on handicaps if needed.
There will be a $5 optional game, chosen by the pro shop weekly. It will be a mix of side games, for example: Low Net against your division, Net Skins game, etc.
Non-Members
Non-Lakeside season pass members are welcome to play in Tuesday AM league. They will be responsible for daily greens fees, in addition to their Season League Fee and GHIN handicap fee (whether kept here at Lakeside or at another facility). Daily greens fee is $42+tax for 18 holes with cart ($29+tax if walking).
Season Kick Off:
The season will kick off with a 4-person Scramble on Tuesday, May 23rd so that everyone can perhaps shake off some rust coming out of the winter. This will be a required $5 game per player.
1st half will consist of the following dates:
May 30 (Oak/Maple)
June 6 (Oak/Maple)
June 13 (Maple/Pine)
June 20 (Oak/Maple)
June 27 (Pine/Oak)
July 11 (Oak/Maple)
**PLEASE NOTE - we will take League off on July 4 to observe the holiday. You are more than welcome to make tee times for that day, however there will be no sanctioned league play due to a perceived lack of attendance.
The 2nd half of the season will consist of the following dates:
July 18 (Oak/Maple)
July 25 (Oak/Maple)
August 1 (Maple/Pine)
August 8 (Oak/Maple)
August 15 (Pine/Oak)
August 22 (Oak/Maple)
Payouts for the optional weekly game will be calculated and posted to the league portal the following day. All league winnings will be paid out in the form of Pro Shop credit. Winnings will be credited to your account within the Pro Shop.
There will be a weekly invitation email sent out on Tuesday afternoon following play. Once received, please indicate by clicking if you are or are not playing the following Tuesday. This will help those in the Pro Shop instead of taking down written attendance for the following week or phone calls.
