CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, LUNCH & OTHER FOOD & BEVERAGE

Included in your registration fee is a continental breakfast and lunch. The continental breakfast will be available upon arrival for the meeting. The lunch will be available for pick-up prior to golf. Other individual food and beverage purchases may be made in the clubhouse.

 

LODGING

Arrangements have been made for a block of rooms at the Grand Island Best Western Plus Inn & Suites (2707 South Locust Street) on Sunday, October 1. Call the hotel at (308) 381-8855 to make your reservations. The rate is $115+tax. Reference NWAGA Golf when booking to get group rate. The room block expires September 1, 2023.

 

GOLF INFORMATION

The format for golf is a Four-Person Scramble with the following modifications:

  • You may lift, clean, and place a ball within one club length of the selected ball’s original position; in doing you must remain in the same condition (i.e. fairway, rough, bunker or penalty area).
  • You may not use consecutive shots of a single team member for any shot off the putting green. On the putting green, you may use any team member’s putt.
  • Each team member MUST contribute a minimum of two tee shots.


CARTS

The cost of carts is included in the registration fee.

 

HANDICAPS

Each golf participant must have an active USGA Handicap Index. Based on the September 25 Handicap revision. A team’s Playing Handicap is comprised of 25% of the lowest player’s Course Handicap, 20% of the second lowest player’s Course Handicap, 15% of the third lowest player’s Course Handicap and 10% of the highest player’s Course Handicap figured to the hundredth decimal point. Maximum Individual Handicap Index is 40.4.


FLIGHTS

Depending on the number of teams, flights will be created based on Team Handicap for merchandise prize purposes.

 

PRIZES

Merchandise prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each flight based on the total number of participants. Complete details on the prize payout will be available prior to golf.

 

WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS

Should you need to withdraw prior to the meeting please contact Craig Ames at (402) 505-4653, x102 or e-mail cames@nebgolf.org. Fee will be refunded minus the administrative fee ($10) for each individual entry if NWAGA is notified before the deadline. If after the deadline, refunds will be given in the case of injury or illness only.
