Event is open to all amateur golfers. Membership is optional for the NAGT, CLICK HERE to create your player profile. We offer season long competitions for everyone and standalone national points races for the Open division, Veteran division, and First Responder division.
Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club is the West Valley's newest golf experience. The Golf Course is a world-class Nicklaus Design course, operated by the renowned Troon Golf Management Services and designed to be enjoyed by golf enthusiasts and newcomers alike. Our lush fairways cut through farm groves offer a departure from traditional desert settings at Arizona golf courses. Sterling Grove Golf Course combines rolling greens and tree-lined fairways into the par-72 course. Designed by the legendary Nicklaus Design team, the course takes its inspiration from several of the most famous courses in the world.
Day 1 pairings will allow players to request groupings. Day 2 pairings will be by scores within flights.

36-hole stroke play one day tournament. Flighted by handicap.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS / PAIRINGS-TBD
Check in starts at 1 hour prior to first tee time and will be located outside between the clubhouse and locker room.
Driving Range and all Practice Areas are included with your entry fee and open to our players.
Side Games are optional and can be paid with cash at check in.
OPTIONAL SIDE GAMES
Skins Game
18 hole putting contest on the newly built member's putting course. $25 buy in with winner take all (10% will go to American Heroes Foundation)
50/50 Closest to the Pin benefiting the American Heroes Foundation. This will be on hole #13 both days with a $20 buy in each day.
FLIGHTS/TEE BOXES
Flights will be broken up based on the number of players. All flights will be split up as evenly as possible given the number of players in the tournament.
Tee boxes will be as follows: (July heat is taken into account and yardages are on the shorter side to protect players)
Male Golfers 59 and under will play the Blue/White combo tees at 6188 yards
Male Golfers 60 - 79 will play the White tees at 5840 yards
Male Golfers who are 80 and above will play the White/Red tees at 5361 yards
Female Golfers will play the Red Tees at 4886 yards.
This course's defense are the putting greens. If you haven't played here before you will understand after that 1st round.
SCORING
The NAGT will issue scorecards as a secondary/backup scoring method and plan to use Live scoring through Golf Genius as official scoring. Players should load the Golf Genius app which will be used to conduct LIVE scoring. Players will receive a GGID code to score and can locate that code on a pre event pairings email, text, and or cart sign.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Practice rounds are at the discretion of the course and must be scheduled by the golfer.
