OGC Ladies Club 2026 Season

President’s Welcome

Welcome to the 2026 golf season!

We’re delighted to welcome you to another great year with the OGC Ladies Club. Our Club is proud to be a member of Golf Canada, GolfBC, and Golf BC Zone 2, and is based at The Okanagan Golf Club in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia.

The OGC Ladies Club exists to enhance our members’ enjoyment of both recreational and competitive golf, while fostering camaraderie and connection on and off the course. We are a non-profit organization governed by our Governance Document, as approved by the membership, and supported by a dedicated team of volunteer leaders.

Our Leadership Team follows the Guiding Principles outlined in the Governance Document, and we ask all members to help uphold these shared commitments:

  1. Play with integrity and respect by demonstrating good sportsmanship, following the rules and etiquette of golf, and representing the Club in a positive way.
  2. Support financial accountability by ensuring event registrations are paid promptly.
  3. Help build an inclusive and welcoming Club culture by participating in events and encouraging others to do the same.
  4. Communicate openly and constructively by bringing questions or concerns to a member of the Leadership Team and attending General Meetings whenever possible to stay informed.
  5. Embrace teamwork and volunteerism by lending a hand at Club events, helping recruit volunteers, and offering timely, respectful feedback to support the Leadership Team.

We encourage all members to attend our two General Meetings: the Spring General Meeting on May 13 and the Annual General Meeting on October 1. Meetings may be attended in person, virtually via Zoom, or by proxy vote. These meetings are a great opportunity to connect with fellow members, stay informed, and have your voice heard on matters affecting the Club. New this season is a monthly luncheon that provides a chance for our members to mingle and catch up on any developments.

Our volunteer Leadership Team has worked hard to create a diverse and engaging event program, and we hope you’ll join us for many of the activities planned this season. Whether you’re coming on your own or with friends, our Event Chairs are always happy to welcome single players and help arrange playing partners.

On behalf of the entire Leadership Team, we wish you a fun, successful, and memorable 2026 golf season. We look forward to seeing you on the course!
