Girls/Women's Match Play Championship

The 2018 Girls Match Play Championship will be held May 4-6th at Swope Memorial Golf Course. This particular championship is by invitation only. Invitations to this event can be earned through participation in the Kansas City Junior Tour as well as exceptional play in state high school golf events and USGA Qualifiers. The entry fee is $80.

The tournament begins with a 9-hole qualifying round on Friday, May 4th. The top 8 scores from Friday then make it to match play where the quarterfinals will begin Saturday morning. The semi-finals of match play will take place Saturday night and the final match will be held Sunday morning, May 6th.

Last year's Girls Match Play had a great championship match between Julia Misemer and Molly Saporito, with Misemer claiming the 2017 Girls Match Play Champion. The KCGA hopes this year's Girls Match Play is just as exciting.

The 2018 Women's Match Play Championship will be held May 4-6th at Swope Memorial Golf Course. This championship is open for registration March 1. The entry fee is $80 and the deadline to register for this championship is April 26th at 11:59 PM.

The tournament begins with an 18-hole gross, stroke play round on that Friday, May 4th. The top 8 scores from Friday then make it to match play where the quarterfinals will begin Saturday morning. The semi-finals of match play will take place Saturday night and the final match will be held Sunday morning, May 6th. The semi-finalists and finalist are quaranteed gift certificates for their exceptional play.
