Rules of Competition
Registration & Start Time
Registration begins in the Clubhouse at 12:00 PM. We ask all participants to sign in at the registration table no later than 1:15 PM to make payment for your tournament fees and collect your gift bag. All participants must check in at the registration table prior to play. Play begins with a Horn at 1:30 PM for the Shotgun Start.
Lunch
A BBQ lunch is included in your entry fee and will be available for pick up by the practice putting green from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. It will consist of a selection of Burger, Grilled Chicken Sandwich or Hot Dog.
Format
The format for the Wine Cellar Cup is a 4 Person Team with each team split in to Two * 2 Person Scramble Teams. Each team submits an 18 Hole Gross Score (Example: 73 + 75 = 148 less HDCP allotment later). The team with the lowest combined net score will be declared the "Wine Cellar Cup Champs"
Tees
All Men will play from the BLUE tees unless aged 70 years or Older will play the WHITE tees. All Ladies will play from the YELLOW tees. Juniors aged 10 years or Younger will play the ORANGE tees.
Handicaps
Team Handicaps determined using 15% of the total handicap of all four team members. The team handicap will be rounded rounded to the nearest hundredths.
General Rules
- Each player must use at least SEVEN tee shots. Otherwise, there are no shot limits
- When a shot is chosen anywhere "through the green" including hazards, you must play next shot within one club length no closer to the hole. Out of Bounds remains O.B. On the putting green you must putt from the same spot.
- Maximum score on any hole is 8. (Hit 7 and count 8 for pace of play)
- Post your gross score in the printed scorecards. Your Team Handicap will be deducted at the conclusion of play.
- Freshly sodded areas are a free lift.

Ties
A Closest to the Pin playoff on Hole # 18 from 100 yards will be used to break a tie for the Overall Champion. For all other ties the HIGHER HANDICAP wins.
Returning of Scorecard
Scorecards must be signed and returned to the Pro Shop staff in the clubhouse area immediately after play. A player's scorecard is deemed officially returned when the player has left the scoring area and given the scorecard to a tournament official or staff member. The printed scorecard is the official scorecard and must be signed and returned. The live scoring app leaderboard is for information purpose only during play. We ask that teams mark their score in the app correctly after each hole to maintain accuracy for all participants.
Please Note: Rule changes may occur (due to circumstances) different to those posted here. The Rules Sheet handed out at registration will be the Official Rules and govern play of the tournament.
