The Senior Women’s Amateur Championship is open to amateur female golfers who have a USGA Handicap Index of 9.0 or less and have reached their 50th birthday by January 8, 2024.
 

If event is over-subscribed, preference will be given to the lowest handicap entries and Exempt players. Players whose entries have not been accepted will be contacted and asked if they would like to be placed on a waitlist.  Entries are subject to rejection at any time (including during the Championships) by the Tournament Committee.

Monday, January 8           

 

Qualifying – 18 Holes Stroke Play

Players Dinner at 6 PM

 

Tuesday, January 9          

 

First Round Match Play – Championship, Second Flight

 

Wednesday, January 10

 

Match Play – Championship, First Flight, Second Flight

Optional Consolation stroke play rounds

 

Thursday, January 11         

 

Quarter Final Match Play – Championship, First Flight, Match Play Final – Second Flight, Semi-Final Match Play – Championship, First Flight

 

Friday, January 12                

 

Championship & First Flight – Match Play Finals (18 Holes)

 

 

 

Entry Fee

$400 - Includes cart fees (tournament only), range balls, access to practice facility, players' dinner, players' luncheon daily, on-course snacks, continental breakfast daily and players' gifts. 

                                                       

 

 

Field Limit

Amateur - 40 players

18 Hole Qualifying for a Championship Flight of 32, and a Second Flight of 8. Defeated 16 in Championship Flight will form a First flight of 16. The Committee reserves the right to add flight(s), accept entries after closing and change flight sizes dependent on the number of entries received.  Flights with less than 6 players will play a 36-hole stroke play competition.

 

 

Practice             

A complimentary single practice round will be extended to accepted players only.

 

Local players (living within 75 miles) must play before Sunday, January 7. Players may call the Golf Shop (954-449-4420) two days in advance for times. Times for Saturday, January 6 will be limited after 12:30 pm and available beginning on Tuesday, January 2.

 

Out of Town Players (living outside 75 miles) may play on or before Sunday, January 7. Players may call the Golf Shop two days in advance for times. Times for Saturday, January 6 (limited after 12:30 pm) and Sunday, January 7 (limited after 11:30 am) will be available beginning on Tuesday, January 2.

 

 

Cart/Caddie       

A player may provide her own caddie or carry her own bag. Pull carts are permitted and CRCC has a few rental pull carts.  AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION is available FOR PLAYERS ONLY during any stage of the Championship.  Players will not be guaranteed a single cart until all players will have access to a single cart dependent on current Covid restrictions. CADDIES MUST WALK AT ALL TIMES during a stipulated round. A player requesting a golf cart for her caddie due to a permanent disability (as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act) must contact the golf shop when submitting her entry to determine if a waiver to ride may be granted. Requests due to temporary injuries or impairments will not be granted.

Your entry will not be accepted until payment is received.  Note: Payment may also be accepted over the phone with a credit card. Please call the golf shop at 954-449-4420. A receipt copy will be emailed to you once payment is made. Confirmation email will be sent once payment has been accepted.

 

Deadline          

Entry and entry fee must be received by Friday, December 15, 2023, at 1:00 PM.  Entry fee will be refunded regardless of reason of withdraw before the closing date of Friday, December 15, 2023.  After closing, a refund less an administrative fee of $35 will be refunded for illness or injury if requested by January 5, 2024.  Entry fee will not be refunded after January 9, 2023.  Please list a valid email address for entry receipt notification and tournament communications.

 

 

With my registration I hereby agree to abide by the Rules & Regulations set forth for this competition.  I certify that all information on my entry is correct and that I meet all eligibility requirements.  I agree that if accepted in the tournament, I will play until eliminated.  Failure to do so may jeopardize participation in future events.
