Format:
36 holes of individual stroke play; 18 holes per day. Both days will be played at Poppy Hills GC. Play will be 100% of the course handicap. Men will play from the White NCGA Tee Markers and women will play from the Red NCGA Tee Markers at the provided yardages in all flights. Course Handicaps for women will be adjusted accordingly as prescribed in Section 3-5 of the USGA Handicap Manual. THE CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE FLIGHTED BASED ON MAY 15TH HANDICAP INDEX AND PLAYED BASED ON JUNE 1STHANDICAP INDEX. There will be a play-off to determine first place immediately following the conclusion of play. If a play-off cannot be conducted (decision of the Committee and golf course) the USGA method of matching cards will be used. Ties for second and third places will be broken using the USGA method of matching cards.
Flights:
Big Sur (12.0 & below); Golden Gate (12.1-15.5); Yosemite (15.6 & above).
First Tee Time:
7:30 AM off tees #1 & #10. Players should be at their assigned tee 10 minutes prior to their tee time.
Practice Round Information:
Poppy Hills – Contact the Pro Shop at (831) 622-8239 to schedule a practice round. NCGA member greens fees are $80 (Mon-Thurs),
$100 (Fri &Sun), $110 (Sat).
Automotive Transportation:
The NCGA is committed to providing golfers with disabilities as much course access as the conditions allow. Please contact the
host Head Professional to make requests for access at least one week prior to the event.
Golf carts are optional at the player’s expense. Poppy Hills: $25 per rider. Golf carts are restricted to cart paths at all times. A maximum of two carts per group is permitted. SPECTATOR CARTS ARE PROHIBITED.
Practice Balls:
Pro Shop and driving range will open at 6:00 AM.
Payment Information:
Cash, check, and credit card payments accepted.
Food and Beverage Information:
Porter’s Restaurant will open at 6:30 AM.
Additional Information:
Prior to the first day of the event, you must make yourself familiar with the Player Handbook, Hard Card, Pace of Play Policy, and Clarification on Smart Phones. You, the player, are responsible for knowing this information.
