DUNTRYLEAGUE REGIONAL QUALIFIER

Host Venue: Duntryleague Golf Club

Event Date: Sunday 3 to Tuesday 5 March 2024

Prize Money: $50,000 Prize Pool (pay to 35 places) for professionals. Amateurs will receive prizemoney for 1st, 2nd. and 3rd positions.

Event Format: 36 Holes Strokeplay – (2 Days) + Pro Am/s

Field Size: 72 - Amateur entries via Golf NSW. Professional entries via the WPGA entries platform.

Entry Fee: Amateur Competitor $100

GA Handicap Limit: 4.4

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Sunday 3 March 2024: Tournament Pro Am (COMPULSORY FOR ALL COMPETITORS)

Monday 4 March 2024: Round One – Random Draw + Tournament Pro Am

Tuesday 5 March 2024: Round Two – Seeded Draw

Presentation will take place in front of clubhouse (On Putting Green) following conclusion of day 2.

 

PLAYER REGISTRATION

Competitors in the Duntryleague Regional Qualifier will be required to register in person at the Tournament Office, located in the main clubhouse at Duntryleague Golf Club.

 

QUALIFYING INFORMATION

The leading 2 eligible players (excluding those who hold a current WPGA Tour Exemption Category of 5 or higher) who finish in the top 15 and ties shall qualify for the 2024 Womens NSW Open. Should ties exist; the winner of the event will be determined by a sudden death play-off to establish a clear winner (If a play-off involves more than two players, those other than the winner will be deemed to have tied for second place regardless of their scores in the play-off). The play-off holes will be announced by the Tournament Director. In the event of a tie for the qualifying positions a count back will be used taking the final 18-hole scores, then if required, the Golf Australia Countback method on the final 18-hole scores. 

 

TOURNAMENT PRO AM

As a condition of entry all players must make themselves available for the Tournament Pro Am on Sunday 3 March 2024. The Tournament Pro Am will be conducted on Sunday 3 and Monday 4 March (which includes round one).

 

LIVE SCORING

All Players are required to do Live Scoring at the Duntryleague Regional Qualifier via the WPGA Golf Genius Scoring App.

 

YARDAGE BOOKS

Yardage Books will not be available for this event. Players may use Distance Measuring Devices for distance measuring only.

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

Practice rounds can be booked via the Pro Shop on 6362 3466.

 

PLAYER REQUIREMENTS

Soft Spikes: It is compulsory for soft spikes to be worn.

Caddies: Functions are players only.

Carts/Buggies: *LIMITED PULL BUGGIES AVAILABLE*. Players are requested to bring their own.

 

DRESS REQUIREMENTS

In accordance with minimum standard of dress during a tournament as per the WPGA Membership Regulation. i.e. neat casual/golf attire, no denim.
