COMPETITION |
Senior Women’s Championship |

ELIGIBILITY |
Open to female amateur golfers ages 50 and over as of August 20, 2018 |
|
FIELD |
Low 132 entries by USGA Handicap Index. A # of players to be determined for each division (Championship, Senior, Super Senior) will be based on lowest USGA Handicap Indexes at the close of entries. Within each division players will generally be in flights of 12 players. |

FORMAT |
36 holes of individual, flighted stroke play |

PRACTICE ROUNDS |
One official practice round per player. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below beginning August 7th. Please call Sky Valley Country Club to reserve your practice round starting time. Practice round cart and range fee is $30 plus tax. Cash and Credit cards will be accepted for purchases in the golf shop.

YARDAGES & TEES |
A combination of tee markers and yardages will be utilized for the championship. Yardages will be posted to the event details page. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition. A complete practice yardage sheet will be provided for players playing practice rounds. |

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE: |
The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:00 a.m. each day of competition. |

STARTING TIMES |
Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on August 15. |
|
REGISTRATION |
No formal registration will be held on site. Player withdraws must be called in or e-mailed to the GSGA office so that an alternate may be contacted. |
|
CARTS |
Practice carts and range fees are $30 plus tax. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the entry fee. |
|
RULES OF PLAY/PACE OF PLAY/CART POLICY |

FOOD SERVICE |
Food service will be available each day. Cash and credit cards will be accepted for F & B purchases. |

PRIZES |
Prizes will be awarded to the overall winner and the top 25% of finishers in each flight. |

REFUND POLICY |
A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries. Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled. Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling the GSGA Rules and Competitions Department at (770) 955-4272 or via email to radams@gsga.org |
