Format:
36 holes of individual stroke play, 18 holes per day. Both rounds will be at Poppy Hills GC and play will be from the NCGA Tee Markers wherever they are situated (see Yardage sheet). There will be a play-off to determine first place immediately following the conclusion of play. If a play-off cannot be conducted (decision of the Committee and golf course) the USGA method of matching cards will be used. Ties for second or third place will be broken using the USGA method of matching cards
Competition Schedule:
7:30 AM off tees #1 & #10. Please check the NCGA website for groupings and starting times. Players should be at their assigned tee 10 minutes prior to their tee time.
Practice Round Information:
Fee: $80 (Monday-Thursday), $100 (Friday & Sunday), $110 (Saturday); carts are $25 per player (optional). For practice round starting times/availability please call (831) 622-8239.
Cart Fee Information:
The NCGA is committed to providing golfers with disabilities as much course access as the conditions allow. Please contact the host Head Professional to make requests for access at least one week prior to the event.
Golf carts are optional at the player’s expense. Cart rental is $25 per player. A maximum of two golf carts per group is permitted. Push carts may be rented for $10. SPECTATOR CARTS ARE PROHIBITED
Golf Shop & Practice Range:
The golf shop and practice range will open at 6:30 AM.
Payment Information:
Cash and major credit cards are accepted for all purchases (golf shop and food and beverage).
Food and Beverage Information:
orter’s Restaurant will be open from 6:00am to 6:00pm. The Snack Bar opens at 9:30am. No outside food and beverage is permitted.
Additional Information:
Prior to the first day of the event, you must make yourself familiar with the Regulations and Policies,(including 2018 Hard Card, 2018 Pace of Play Policy, and Clarification on Smart Phones).
