TOURS

 

On these pages we are using the club name associate with our clubs in the GHIN or CDGA databases. For everyone's clarity hare are the TOURs:

Atlanta (ATL): Amateur Golfers Association

Chicago (CHI): CDGA Members Club (real name is Weekly Challenge Golf Tour)

Connecticut (CT): Conn Amateur Golf Tour

Pittsburg (PGT): Pittsburg Golfers Tour

 

FLIGHTS

 

This year we will have 4 flights in the event: Flight 1 will play the long tees for the event (approx 6300 yards each day for the men). Flights 2 and 3 will play the middle tees for the event (approx 6000 yards each day for the men), and Flight 4 will play a mix of middle and short tees for the event (short tees are around 5600 yards each day for the men), based on player selection.

 

SIDE POOLS

 

There will be 3 optional side pools each day:

  • Gross Skins within flight ($20 per day)
  • Net Skins within flight ($20 per day)
  • Low Round of the Day within flight ($20 per day) - this will be split between the low Gross round and the low Net round within each flight for flights 1-3, and will be net only for flight 4.

 

Players must sign up for side pools for all 3 days before the start of play on Day 1. This year side pool registration will be handled by the individual Tour directors prior to the start of play on day 1. Please contact your Tour director for information on entering side pools. The entry for side pools must be paid in cash to your Tour director.

 

HANDICAPS

 

For the NTC we are using the lowest index for each player between October 1st and 15th, 2023. Please note that the courses that we are playing have fairly low course ratings to the course handicaps are in most cases a couple of strokes lower than the index. This is consistent across the field.
