TOURNAMENT RULES

This is a 4-player Team Scramble event with 1 flight.

  - On tee box, each player hits their own shot from their assigned tee shown on scorecard.

  - The team then decides which is the best shot to play and marks that spot.

  - From the selected shot, each player can place the ball within 6 inches, no closer to the hole.  If the selected ball is in the Green fringe, rough or a bunker, each player must play from the Green fringe, rough or bunker.

  - Once the ball has come to rest on the putting green, it must be marked and all 4 players putt from that marked position (the one club length rule does not apply to the putting green).

** IF A TEAM HAS ONLY 3 PLAYERS, ONLY 2 PLAYERS GET 2 SHOTS (but NEVER the A player).

The team handicap will be adjusted so that the missing player will be removed from the tee sheet and Golf Genius will adjust the new threesome ABC handicaps to be 30%,25%,15% respectively.

Depending on which player is a no-show, the next 2 higher index players will alternate by hole # playing a 2nd shot for the missing player (but never the A player getting 2 shots).  Here is how the 2 players are determined:

missing player A:

B & C rotate hitting twice (B hits on the Even hole #s, C hits on Odd hole #s)
missing player B:    C & D rotate hitting twice (C hits on the Even hole #s, D hits on Odd hole #s)
missing player C:    B & D rotate hitting twice (B hits on the Even hole #s, D hits on Odd hole #s)
missing player D:    B & C rotate hitting twice (B hits on the Even hole #s, C hits on Odd hole #s)
