UNDER 18 NATIONAL MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP 2023

At Castle Park GC, Gifford,

Tues 17th October to Sat 21st Oct

 

A matchplay event where boys and girls will compete against each other.

Three rounds qualifying will be played on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 1 round per day. The top 8 qualifiers will then participate in the National Matchplay Championship. The next top 8 players will then participate in the Consolation Salver Matchplay Championship. In the event of a tie, it will be decided on a countback basis.

The match play stages will commence on Friday 20th October with the finals taking place on Saturday 21st Oct.

There prizes for the events shall be as follows:

SGF CONSOLATION SALVER

1. Consolation Salver, £ 50

ALL PRIZE WINNERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO STAY BEHIND FOR THE PRIZE GIVING

 

  1. Practice rounds are free, if you wish to arrange a practice round, contact Castle Park GC on 01620 810733
  2. All players must register at the Tournament Office, in the main lounge of the clubhouse at least 30 minutes before their tee time.
  3. On each day the players will receive a meal.
  4. All players must be on the tee 10 minutes before their allocated tee time.
  5. Driving Range will be open from 7.00am and close at 6pm.
  6. The local rules on the club scorecard will be incorporated along with any additional rules giving on the day for the event. 
  7. All competitors as being part of the Stephen Gallacher Foundation will receive a free junior membership of Castle Park GC, after the event.
