What do I bring?

  • Your own clubs

The longest hole on the course is 140m. You can pretty much leave any club you hit further than that at home. We will also allow the use of your playing partners clubs if they allow you to. If you don't have your own, you can hire a set from the teebox cafe.

  • A stubby holder

FERAL Brewing will be handing out some cold ones on the first tee.

  • Your family and friends

We've made sure that the day can be enjoyed by everyone, not just the players! Make sure you invite your family and friends to come and soak up the atmosphere with you.

  • A smile!

We set up this day up for one reason, to break the norm and have some FUN! Leave the serious golf for comp days, this day is about us players as a collective enjoying the sport we love, with people who love it too.

How will we be marking the nearest to pins?

You will notice a white disc with a black dot in the middle of it located somewhere on the green. That is the nearest to pin marker. On the edge of each green you will find a small white tube which houses the nearest to pin sheet and a pen. Simply use the disc marker to mark where your ball came to a stop (so long as it's closer than where the marker was previously), then open head to the edge of the green, grab the sheet out from inside the white tube and jot your name down. Once you've done that, simply put the white tube back on the edge of the green in a place where it won't interfere with shots from groups behind you.

Can there be multiple hole-in-one prize winners on a hole?

Although it's EXTREMELY unlikely, during the 9 hole hole-out challenge, yes. TGC staff will be walking around the course to monitor shots landing on greens to verify any hole-in-one claim.

If I get a hole-in-one on the 9th hole during the stroke play tournament, do I win the car?

No, the tee box on the 9th hole will be setup differently for the stroke play tournament and The Final Attack event, therefore, the major prize is not in play during the tournament. In the stroke play tournament, the 9th hole will be set up with a front tee box playing roughly 130m. The Final Attack will have the rear most tee box playing at a minimum of 140m which makes it a completely different hole.

Can I drive the car home if I win it?

Unfortunatley, no. The vehicle(s) on display on the day are demo vehicles on loan from the dealership who's sponsoring the hole-in-one prize.

Do I have to be there for 12pm?

Not at all! As long as you've checked in at least 10 minutes before your tee time, you can come whenever suits you. You'll miss out on the free cheeseburger but all the novelty competitions will still be running right up until the last group tees off.

Can I win more than one nearest to pin prize?

Absolutely! You'll probably get some sideways looks from your playing partners but hey, when it's your day - it's your day!
