Welsh Men’s Seniors Open Championship – Player Information

Format                            

54 Holes Stroke Play. Cut to the top 60 & ties after Round 2.

 

Tee Times                       

Tee Times for Rounds 1 & 2 will be published online and via email on Thursday 20th June.

Round 3 will be in reverse standing order and published after play on Thursday 27th June.

 

Close Tee Time Requests

For those that are sharing accommodation and travelling to and from the event, you can submit a Close Tee Time Request by midnight Wednesday 19th June at 5pm. 

 

Registration                    

There will be no in person registration at the event. Confirmation of your attendance and photography consent must be completed online using the following link before the first round.

 

Withdrawals                   

Players withdrawing should email championships@walesgolf.org

This event is over subscribed and there are currently 16 reserves, if you are wishing to withdraw please do so at the earliest convenience so that we can contact the reserve list.

Practice Facilities           

There is a range on site; tokens to be purchased from the proshop. There is also a putting green by the first tee and a short game area located to the left of the first hole.

 

Caddies & Spectators      

Both permitted

 

Catering                          

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. At player’s own expense.

 

Clubhouse & Pro Shop    

Open 1 hour prior to the start of each day’s play

On-course Championship Information and Scoring

Scorecards, Pin Positions and Local Rules to be collected at the 1st tee from the starter each morning. Live scoring to be completed by the players (one in each group) via smart phones. Players are encouraged to download the Golf Genius App prior to the first round for this.
