Format
- There will be a running clock and when time is up, your turn is up. The clock starts once the player makes their first swing.
- The longest drive of the 10 that comes to rest within the ‘grid’ will count for the division and overall competitions.
- Drives will be measured with TrackMan and physically measured on the Grid, the physical measurement will be the official distance.
- The top 2 overall male and female players will compete in a sudden-death playoff at the conclusion of the competition.
Eligibility
The competition is open to amateur golfers age 12 and older who are active members of an MGA Member Club. Participants will compete for their respective age division titles (noted below) and all participants will be entered to win the overall Men's and Women's Championships. Following the conclusion of scheduled play, the top two male and female participants will play-off for the title and the opportunity to win the Lexus Long Drive Championship Belts.
Tournament Information
Players will be provided Callaway golf balls on site for the competition.
Player's equipment must conform to the USGA Equipment Rules.
Players must wear golf attire for the competition.
All final tournament information including on-site logistics, parking, and starting times will be communicated after the registration deadline passes.
Divisions
Girls/Boys Division: Players not yet 16 years of age, the girls/boys are also eligible for the male and female Junior divisions.
Junior Division: Male and female golfers not yet 19 years of age and are not yet attending college.
Mid-Am Division: Male and female golfers 30 years of age and older.
Senior Division: Male and female golfers aged 55 years of age and older.
Overall Champion: All players in the competition, including those 19-29 years of age, are eligible for the overall Championship.
