Format: 72 holes of stroke play. A 36-hole cut will be made to the low 40 players and ties.
Thursday (8/2): 7:00 a.m. off holes #1 and #13.
Friday (8/3): 7:00 a.m. off holes #1 and #13.
Saturday (8/4): 7:00 a.m. off hole #1.
Sunday (8/5): 7:00 a.m. off hole #1.
Walking Only Event: The CGA Amateur Championship is a walking only event. Players may carry their bag, use a push cart, or use a caddie.
Driving Range: The driving range will be available at 6:00 a.m. at no additional cost to the player. After each round, the driving range will be closed to all players.
Distance Measuring Devices: Players may use distance measuring devices provided they measure distance only.

Practice Round Information: Limit of one practice round per player (championship participants only). Practice rounds may be made Tuesday - Thursday and after 1 p.m. Greens fees - $50.00 greens fees; Cart fees - $20.00. Although the championship is walking only, carts are mandatory for practice rounds.

Player Food: Player food will be the responsibility of the player, CASH ONLY. For Sunday only, a buffet lunch will be provided for all remaining players in the field.
Defending Champion: Glenn Workman (Sonnenalp Club, 2017)
Eligibility: Open to all active CGA Members
Registration Deadline: 11:59 p.m. MT July 1, 2018. The championship is now CLOSED.
Entry Fee: $220 for exempt players into the championship. Qualifying fees will be $90 per player with an additional $130 for successful qualifiers.
Field Size: Maximum of 84 players based on exemptions and successful qualifiers.
