01 — Player Eligibility

Invitation Criteria

The Jones Cup Junior Invitational is available to male amateur golfers who are no older than 18 as of December 21, 2026 and are not enrolled full time at a university.

Entries are subject to approval or rejection by the Jones Cup Junior Invitational Committee at any time, including after the start of play. The championship field is limited to 84 players.

02 — Qualifying Opportunity

Jones Cup Junior Qualifier

An 18-hole qualifying round will provide eligible players an opportunity to earn a place in the championship field.

18-Hole Championship Qualifier

Sea Island Golf Club · Retreat Course

The Jones Cup Junior Committee will host an 18-hole qualifier for eligible participants. A minimum of four qualifying spots will be awarded, along with three alternate positions to fill any potential vacancies.

Ties for the final qualifying spot or any alternate position will be decided by a hole-by-hole sudden-death playoff immediately following the completion of play.
