Conditions of Play
CHCC Spring Cup - Vardon Event 2026
The following Conditions of Play apply to the Castle Hill Country Club Spring Cup - Vardon Event 2026. All entrants are responsible for ensuring they meet the applicable entry and competition requirements.

- CHCC Spring Cup Gross Runner Up ($200)
- CHCC Spring Cup Gross 3rd Place ($150)
- CHCC Spring Cup Nett Winner ($150)
- CHCC Spring Cup Nett Runner Up ($100)
Prizes
- Players may only win one trophy.
- Gross trophies shall have precedence over nett trophies.
Entry
- Members: $30 (Charged on Day)
- Visitors: $80
- Entry is to be completed through GOLF GENIUS.
Entry Eligibility
- Players must be a financial male member of an affiliated Club, have amateur status and be in a category of membership with playing rights.
- Players must have a Golf Australia handicap of 10.6 or less for members, and 6.4 or less for visitors.
- Entries must be received by the closing date. Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Golf Committee.
- Members' entries open 3rd September, Visitor Entries open 7th September
- Entries shall close at 5 pm, seven (9) days in advance.
Draw
- Entries for the Spring Cup are by a first-come process. There WILL NOT be a handicap ballot.
- Players will select their preferred tee time at the time of entry. Tee time from 6:58 am to 11:30 am
- The final draw will be posted live on the event site and emailed to all participants 7 days prior to the event.
Cancellations
It is the responsibility of the entrant to cancel their booking prior to the commencement of the event. An entrant not providing at least 48 hours' notice of their intent to cancel will forfeit their entry fee.
Ties
- In the event of a tie, a sudden death playoff will occur. The holes, in order of play, to be used for the sudden death playoff shall consist of the 16th hole, 17th hole and 18th hole. These holes shall continue to be replayed until a winner is determined.
- All other trophies will be determined by the Golf Australia Countback system.
Other Conditions
1. Rules - The Championship will be played as per the Rules of Golf as set out by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, plus any local rules of the course as set out by the Golf Committee on the scorecard and Notice Board.
2. Scorecard Returns - Players shall submit their scorecards within 15 minutes of the completion of their round, in paper card format or electronically. These shall be treated as completed once returned, and no changes may be made to scores or cards. Failure to return the scorecard in accordance with these conditions may lead to disqualification.
3. Disputes - Any dispute must be presented to the Golf Committee, or its representative, within fifteen minutes of the completion of that day's play. Disputes and decisions shall be governed by Rules 34.3.
4. Pace of Play Policy - This policy is strictly enforced during this competition.
5. Presentation - The winner of the event is announced at the end of the competition in the clubhouse.
6. Tournament & Golf Committee - These Conditions may be amended at the discretion of the Golf Committee. Their decision shall be final.
