Pairings Information Memo to Players Practice Round Notice

Format: The 69th MGA Father & Son Championship is 18 holes of stroke play.

Eligibility: Both the father and son* must be members of an MGA Member Club and have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men. The team must have a combined Handicap Index of 18.0 or less and one member of the team must have a handicap of 6.0 or less under the USGA Handicap System. Neither father nor son may have a Handicap Index that exceeds 18.0. All entrants are subject to the MGA Rules and Regulations.

A father may register to play more than once with two different sons, under the condition that the morning round is the “competitive” round; the afternoon round will not count towards the competition.

Note: If the championship fills to capacity, the second father-son pair will be placed on the waitlist until a spot becomes available.

Note: Either the Father OR the Son may be the Professional if entered into the Professional Division. The Amateur must have a handicap of 18.0 or less.

*Those with legal guardianship may also participate.*
