Joint Qualifying |
Players have the option to enter 8 different Met Area qualifiers that will determine the fields for both the Met Amateur and Ike Championship. The entry fee is $140 to enter one qualifier for one of the two Championships. IF a player would like to try and qualify for both Championships, the player would pay an additional $60 which must be paid in advance of the round. Once entered into a qualifier for both championships, the player's score for that day will count towards each respective tournament qualifying.
There will be a different percentage of the field qualifying for each Championship based upon total entry numbers. More qualifying positions will be available for the Ike due to the starting field size of the respective Championships. Qualifying numbers will be released before play begins on the morning of each qualifier.
Please note individual qualifier numbers will vary from the total field size due to the nature of the joint qualifiers, all qualifying numbers will be allocated accordingly. Players may NOT play in two different qualifiers for each of the two different events.

Eligibility |
The competition is open to amateur golfers who are members of an MGA Member Club. A person who does not reside in the MGA territory and who is not a full-time student or employed in the MGA territory, cannot join an MGA Member Club for the purpose of entering the Met Amateur Championship. All entrants must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 5.0 under the USGA Rules of Handicapping and are subject to the MGA Rules and Regulations.
