REGISTRATION

Opens: Monday, June 21, 7:00 a.m.
Closes: Monday, July 5, 11:59 p.m.

Waiting List

In the case of the event being maxed out, any spots opened as a result of cancellations will be automatically filled with the next available player(s) on the waitlist (ordered by waitlist registration time). There will be no charge until players/teams are moved from the waitlist to the confirmed tournament roster in our system.

ENTRY FEE - $105 per player

$105.00 entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, gift certificates

REFUND POLICY

Players will have up to 2 days (48 hours) AFTER the registration closing date to request a refund and will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee, regardless of reason. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received after 2 days (48 hours) after the registration closing date.

ELIGIBILITY

Entries are open to any amateur golfer, male or female, holding an active NOGA/GHIN Handicap Index® at the time of registration and competition from an authorized NOGA member club. Entries are subject to the approval or rejection, at any time, by the NOGA tournament committee at its discretion. Players must be 19 years of age on or before the date of competition. HANDICAP INDEX LIMIT

5.4 or lower for ALL Scratch Series tournaments.

Find the NOGA Tent upon arrival to register your team for the day

Driving Range: Plan to arrive 1 hour before your scheduled tee time to utilize the range
Starting Times: Starting Times begin at 9:00 AM off #1 & #10 Tee
First Tee: Please arrive to the first tee 10 minutes before your scheduled tee time ready to play.

FORMAT

An individual stroke play competition, in which each player competes against all other players in the division. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and its decisions, by the NOGA Hard Card and the terms of competition. Rule 1.3B states that players are responsible for applying the rules to themselves.

FIELD SIZE

100 Players If the event is full, players can still register and be placed on the Waiting List. Players will NOT be charged until they have been moved from the Waiting List to the Tournament Roster.

DIVISIONS

Scratch Division: Must have a Handicap Index of 5.4 or lower
Senior Scratch Division: Must have a Handicap Index of 5.4 or lower. To compete in the Senior Division, players must be between 55 years of age on or before the date of the competition.
Super Senior Scratch Division: Must have a Handicap Index of 5.4 or lower. To compete in the Super Senior Division, players must be 65 years of age on or before the date of the competition.

TEES BY DIVISION

NOTE: Tee set and yardage information will be emailed to players after registration closes.

PAIRINGS & REQUESTS

Pairings will be posted to NOGA.org and sent to players after registration closes. If you would like to request a specific pairing group or tee time, please contact Sean Croell at scroell@noga.org

STARTING TIMES

9:00 am off #1 & #10 Tee

GIFT CERTIFICATES

During registration, players will choose the club/facility they wish to have gift certificate winnings sent to. Please allow 2-3 weeks after the event for gift certificate winnings to arrive at the chosen club/facility.

TIES

In the event that there is a tie, NOGA will retain the tie, unless otherwise noted in the specific tournaments terms of competition.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Points will be awarded for the NOGA Player of the Year award. Refer to the "Player of the Year" at the top menu of the portal.

THE COURSE - TIPPECANOE COUNTRY CLUB

Designed by Donald J. Ross, one of the most significant figures in golf, the 18 hole par 72 course features 6878 yards of golf. It has a slope rating of 130 and a course rating of 72.9. The first photograph on the right is an aerial of the northeast portion of the course. The course was built on a rolling green complex terrain by the architect R. Albert Anderson. The fairways are lined with trees, and the green complex is large, undulating and very fast. There are three ponds that come into play on four holes. The number of sand bunkers range from 61-70. The course's number of annual rounds is estimated as 22,500. Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,878 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,029 yards. Hole #9 is a 186 yard par-3 challenge. Hole #18 is a 464 yard par-4. The longest hole on the course is #2 that plays to 572 yards. The shortest hole on the course is #16 that plays to 156 yards from the back tees.
