Format |
54-hole Stroke Play Championship.
All players will play 18-holes on Tuesday, June 8th followed by a second 18-holes on Wednesday, June 9th. Following the conclusion of Round 2, the field will be cut to the low 40 players & ties. 18-holes will be played on Thursday, June 10th to determine a Champion.
In the event of a tie for the Championship, a three (3) hole aggregate playoff will be held immediately following play. In the event of a further tie, play will immediately continue hole-by-hole until a champion is determined.

1. All Past Long Island Open Champions
2. All competitors who returned 54 hole scores for the 2020 Long Island Open. (This exemption will adjust in 2022 to the Low 30 and ties in the 2021 Long Island Open).
3. 2021 Long Island Met PGA Championship Semifinalists
4. Top 5 and ties in the 2020 Met PGA Championship, NYS Open and Met Open Championship
5. 2020 Hoffhine Memorial Championship
6. 2020 Met PGA Assistants Champion
7. Top 25 on the Met PGA Player of the Year list from the Long Island Section (Farley Cup)
8. Qualifiers for the 2021 PGA Championship and 2020 U.S. Open, U.S Open SQR & U.S. Senior Open
9. 2020 Long Island Senior Open Champion and Low Amateur
10. 2020 Long Island Amateur Semifinalists
11. Current Champion and Runner-Up of; Richardson, LI Mid-Am, & Hebron
12. Current Champion of Richardson Senior Division, LI Junior, and LI Senior Am
13. 2020 Met Amateur Championship; all competitors who qualify for match play
14. Top 5 Low scores and ties at the 2020 Ike
15. Top 10 on the 2020 LIGA Player of the Year list
16. 2020 Senior Amateur Player of the Year
17. 2020 MGA Player of the Year Honor Roll
18. Qualifiers for U.S. Amateur and match play contestants for U.S. Mid Amateur (in effect for 2021).
19. Top 500 WAGR Ranking at the time of entry.
20. Competitors in the most recent Stoddard Trophy Team Matches
21. Past U.S. Open and PGA Champions
22. USGA Champions and members of the Walker Cup team from the past 10 years
23. 2 Professional Representatives from the host club and the Club Champion.
