The 71st MGA Father & Son Championship is 18 holes of Pinehurst Stroke Play.

Both the father and son* must be members of an MGA Member Club and have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men. Neither father nor son may have a Handicap Index that exceeds 18.0 under the USGA Rules of Handicapping. All entrants are subject to the MGA Rules and Regulations.

A father may register to play more than once with two different sons, under the condition that the morning round is the “competitive” round; the afternoon round will not count towards the competition.

Note: If the championship fills to capacity, the second father-son pair will be placed on the waitlist until a spot becomes available.

Note: Either the Father OR the Son may be the Professional if entered into the Professional Division. The Amateur must have a handicap of 18.0 or less.

*Those with legal guardianship may also participate.*

A Team may win both the MGA & WGA Championship.

If both the Father & Son are members of a WGA Member Club, their score will be counted towards both the MGA Championship and the WGA Championship.

A Team may win both the MGA & LIGA Championship.

If both the Father & Son are members of a LIGA Member Club, their score will be counted towards both the MGA Championship and the LIGA Championship.
