Format |
36-hole Stroke Play Championship.
After the first 18-holes on Monday, August 30th, the field will be cut to the low 40 players & ties and all players within five (5) strokes of the lead. 18-holes will be played on Tuesday, August 31st to determine a Champion.
In the event of a tie for the Championship, a hole-by-hole play-off will be held immediately following play.

Exemption Categories |
This competition is open to golfers who will have reached their fiftieth birthday by August TBD, 2021 who are:
1) MGA Senior Open Champions for the last ten years.
2) USGA Champions and members of the Walker Cup Team from the past 10 years.
3) Qualifiers and exempt players for the 2021 National Senior Club Pro Championship.
4) Past Met Open, Amateur, Ike and Mid-Amateur Champions (age 60 or less).
5) Top 25 finishers in the 2020 MGA Senior Open Championship.
6) Qualifiers and Exemptions in the 2021 Met Open Championship.
7. Seniors who complete 18 holes at the 2021 NYS, NJSGA, CSGA, LIGA, and WGA Opens.
8) MGA Senior Amateur Champions for the last 5 years.
9) Top 10 finishers in the 2021 MGA Senior Amateur Championship.
10) Top Five Seniors who make the cut in the 2020 MGA Mid-Amateur Championship.
11. Qualifiers and alternates for all 2021 USGA Championships: Open (LQR/SQR); Senior Open; Four-Ball; Amateur; Mid-Amateur, or Senior Amateur
12. Top 15 from the 2020 Met PGA and 2021 NJSGA/NJPGA Senior Open Championships.
13. Top 5 Finishers in the 2020 LIGA & WGA Senior Open Championships
14. 2021 NJSGA Pre-Senior and Senior Amateur Champions
15. Reigning WGA, LIGA, NYSGA, and CSGA Senior Amateur Champions as of entry deadline.
16. 2021 Stoddard Cup team members
17. Professional Representative from Old Westbury and the curent Club and Senior Club Champion
18. Special Invitees of the MGA Executive Committee.
