| Eligibility | Entry is open to any female and male amateur golfer ages 12-18 who has not started college and is a legal resident of North Carolina. |
| Format | Individual 18-hole stroke play with a maximum score of 8 on each hole. |
| Field Size | 90 players maximum |
| Starting Times |
Starting times will begin at 8:30am off of #1
and #10 tees.
Starting times will be posted 5 days in advance of tournament date. |
| Divisions |
Boys' 12-13 Boys' 14-15 Boys' 16-18 Girls' will be divided into divisions based on the number of entries. TYGA reserves the right to modify divisions based on entries. |

All Boys 14-18 & Dogwood Qualifiers: Black tees All Girls' Divisions and Boys' 12&13: Gold tees Yardages are subject to change. |

| Caddie Information | Caddies are NOT allowed. |
| Electronic Measuring Devices | Players may use an approved measuring device during this event. |
| Push/Pull Carts | Push carts are allowed and encouraged at all TYGA tournaments. |
| Parent & Spectator Policy | Spectator Information:
Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $TBD per cart. Spectator carts are
restricted to the cart path at all times. Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. View our Parent & Spectator Policies for more information. |
| Withdrawal and Refund Policy |
If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from
the event online
or by contacting the TYGA office at 910-725-4235 prior to the day of the
tournament.
If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be
suspended from TYGA events for 1 year. *NEW* Refund Policy: Withdrawals submitted TWO Days Prior or more from tournament date will receive a refund of the entry fee minus a $20 administrative fee regardless of reason if entry accepted into the tournament. Withdrawals submitted less than two days before the tournament will not receive any refund. |
| Prizes | Medals are awarded to each divisional winner, runner-up and second runner-up. |
| Tournament of Champions | Invitations for the 2023 Tournament of Champions will be extended to all division winners in each TYGA One-Day event. |
| Exemptions Earned | Top 10 in boys’ overall (Boys' 14-18) and top 2 in girls’ overall from the TYGA Dan Dobson Junior earn an exemption into the Mimosa Hills Junior. |
| Handicap Posting | TYGA does not post one day tournament scores to player's GHIN handicap record. |
