Championship Player Information

Exempt Registration Opens Tuesday, April 18 at 8:00 pm

Entry Fee Championship Entry Fee: $225
Format & Prizes Championship is conducted at 54 holes of stroke play. There is no cut and this competition includes gross scores only. Merchandise is awarded to the top finishers.
Please note: There is only one division in this championship and all players will play from the same yardage.
Collegiate Cup Players who are currently enrolled at a college/university, will be enrolled by September 15, 2023 at a college/university, or graduated from a college/university in 2023 are eligible to represent their school in the Collegiate Cup. The top-two 54-hole scores from players representing a college/university will be combined to create a team score. The lowest team score will win the Collegiate Cup. 
Eligibility Age Limit: 13 and older.
Maintains residence in North Carolina or South Carolina (maintains residence means legal resident of NC or SC; or enrolled and attends on-campus college/university in NC/SC; or currently lives in and has lived in NC/SC for at least 5 of the previous 12 months prior to the championship start date)
Must have a valid USGA Handicap Index at a CGA member club

June 28: Round 2 - 18 Holes Stroke Play (AM tee times)

Starting Times Posted online and emailed to participants by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 22
Practice Round Information
Available: June 26 after 12:00 p.m. and two weeks in advance of championship, based on availability.

Registration Registration will be on June 26 from 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Players will receive tournament information and player gifts.
Practice Areas Driving range will be open by 7:00 a.m. each day.
Food Service Information There will be a buffet lunch for players only from 11:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. on all competition days. Players with later tee times are encouraged to get lunch prior to their round. All other food and beverage will be at the player’s expense.
Spectator & Caddie Information Spectator Information: Spectators are welcome at CGA championships.
Spectator carts will NOT be available FOR ANY REASON. All carts will be in use by players, CGA staff and club staff.
Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time.
Caddie Information:
Caddies are allowed for championship rounds. During the play of a hole, either the player or her caddie may ride in a golf cart, but not both at the same time. Caddies will not be available at the host club.
