
ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Carris Trophy is the English Boys' Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship and is open to golfers aged under 18 on the 1 January of the year of the championship, played by 72 holes of stroke play over four days.
144 competitors will play 18 holes on each of the first two days. After 36 holes the leading 60 competitors and all those tying for 60th place shall play a further 18 holes on the third day, followed by a re-draw and a final 18 holes on the fourth day.

2026 VENUE
Northamptonshire County golf course was built in 1909 and is a traditional heathland golf course with undulating woodland, gorse, heather and fine pine woods. The course has stood the test of time very well as relatively few major alterations have been made to it since.
