ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP

The English Senior Men's Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship is open to golfers aged 55 or over on the first day of the championship and is played by 54 holes of stroke play over three days at Ipswich (Purdis Heath) & Woodbridge Golf Clubs.

18 holes are played on each of the first two days on two courses. After 36 holes the leading 80 competitors and all those tying for 80th place shall play a further 18 holes on the third day at Ipswich (Purdis Heath) Golf Club.
