71st Ike MGA Stroke Play Championship
Registration opens on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
Registration and payment for Ike SQR's on May 11 must be submitted by Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
Registration and payment for all other qualifiers must be submitted by Sunday, May 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Format |
54-hole Stroke Play Championship.
After the first 18-holes on Monday, June 29, the field will be cut to the low 40 players & ties and all players within five (5) strokes of the lead. 36-holes will be played on Tuesday, June 30, to determine a Champion.
In the event of a tie for the Championship, a three (3) hole aggregate playoff will be held immediately following the conclusion of play. In the event of a tie after three holes, the tied players will immediately continue to playoff hole-by-hole until a champion is determined. |

Eligibility |
The competition is open to amateur golfers who are members of an MGA Member Club. A person who does not reside in the MGA territory and who is not a full-time student or employed in the MGA territory cannot join an MGA Member Club for the purpose of entering the Ike Championship. All entrants must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 5.0 under the USGA Handicap System and are subject to the MGA Rules and Regulations.

5. Met Amateur Quarterfinalists from 2025
6. 2025 Ike Team Champions.
7. Current Champion of the NJ Golf, WGA, NYC, NYSGA, CSGA, and LIGA Amateur and Open Championships by Sunday, June 21, 2026
8. Current MGA Public Links, Mid-Amateur, Junior, and Carter Cup Champions
9. 2026 MGA Senior Amateur Champion
10. Low Amateur in the 2025 Met Open Championship
11. Top 500 in the Men’s World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) at the time of entry
12. The 2025 MGA Player of the Year Honor Roll
13. Top Five Leaders on the 2026 MGA Player of the Year list by Sunday, May 17, 2026
14. The leader on the 2026 MGA Player of the Year list as of Friday, June 19, 2026.
15. A representative team (two players) from the Championship Host Club – Sleepy Hollow
16. Special exemptions as determined by the MGA.
