The championship is conducted at 36 holes of four-ball stroke play. All players play from the same yardage (Women’s Four-Ball
play a longer yardage; Senior Women’s Four-Ball play a shorter yardage), gross scores only. Teams are pre-flighted based on the
low player index of the side (dependent on the number of entries). A tie for Overall Champion (Women’s Four-Ball and Senior
Women’s Four-Ball) is determined by an on-course playoff. All other ties for merchandise will be broken by scorecard playoff. |
| Eligibility | Entry is open to any female amateur golfer who has reached her 13th birthday (Women’s Four-Ball) or 50th birthday (Senior Women’s Four-Ball) by June 9, 2026, is a legal resident of North Carolina or South Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) and has an active USGA Handicap Index® at a CGA member club. Entries are subject to rejection at any time, including during the event, by the CGA or the host club. The reason for rejection may include unbecoming conduct as defined by the CGA Code of Conduct Policy or cell phone use during a round. All players must conform to the “USGA Rules of Amateur Status” as specified in the “Rules of Golf”. For complete residency and eligibility requirements, refer to the CGA Tournament Manual. | Food Service Information | Lunch will be provided for players on Wednesday, June 10. All other food and beverage will be at the player’s expense. |
| Spectator & Caddie Information | Spectator Information: Spectators are welcome at CGA championships. Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time or rent a spectator cart except as provided in the
CGA Tournament Manual. **Due to the limited number of available carts, spectator carts will not be available.** Caddie Information: Caddies are NOT permitted at CGA Events. Model Local Rules H-1.1 is in effect. |
