Doubles will be played in a two-person, better shot or scramble format. Teams may be comprised of men and women, two men or two women. The team will start each hole from their designated tees, then select the ball they wish to play next. Once the selection is made, both players will play a ball from the selected location. The process continues for every shot until the ball is holed on each hole.

Champion: The Overall Champion is the Net Doubles Champion.

In the event of a tie at the completion of play, all ties will be decided by USGA Match of Cards.

All Gross Division Champions will receive a commemorative trophy, an invitation to the Doubles National Championship to represent the MGA in the Doubles Championship (A Flight – Gross) (Entry fee is covered, not travel) and a 1 year exemption into the Championship proper.

Prizes will be award to the Net Division Winners.

Both players must be a member of an MGA Member Club. This competition is a two-person team event. Each male player must have an active USGA Handicap Index that does not exceed 20.0 at the time the team attempts to qualify at the club level; Each female player must have an active USGA Handicap Index that does not exceed 28.0. Players with handicaps that exceed this Handicap Index are not eligible to compete by agreeing to play with an index within the eligible limit.

Divisions: Mixed, Men’s, Women’s, Seniors (55+), & Senior Women's (55+)

Players are subject to one site only. A player cannot play with different partners in multiple sites.
