GOLF TOURNAMENT

How it works

The tournament comprises of 40+ teams featuring employees, officials, clients, partners, customers, and suppliers of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) competing in the Pairs Texas Scramble Format. Each team of two players will tee off on every hole, followed by a strategic decision to choose the best tee shot. From that point, both players will play from the selected location until the ball is successfully holed out. It's a Strokeplay format, and each player must contribute a minimum of 4 tee shots throughout the round. The goal is to achieve the lowest score, making it an exhilarating and competitive event for all participating teams.

Handicap Calculation

The team's handicap is determined by combining 35% of the lower-handicapped player's course handicap with 15% of the higher-handicapped player's official course handicap. The golf genius software will handle all the necessary calculations, including converting the handicap index to the course handicap. In the case of decimals, we round up if it's .5 or higher and down if it's below .5. The maximum allowed combined handicap is 28, and any team exceeding this limit will play with a handicap of 28.
