Player Information

Registration Opens July 8th at 8:00 pm

Eligibility Male and female amateur golfers 18 years of age and under of August 30, 2020 who is a legal resident of NC or SC, who has not started college (class of 2022 and higher).

114 players (30 girls and 84 boys)

Top 4 in boys’ overall and top 2 in girls’ overall are automatically placed into Mimosa Hills Junior Invitational field.

Invitations/Registration Process

The top 125 boys and top 75 girls on the Carolinas Junior Rankings as on July 8, 2021 are invited to register between July 8, 2021 and July 29, 2021.  The top 79 ranked boys and top 27 ranked girls who have registered will be accepted on July 30, 2021.  Those not accepted will be placed on the waiting list based on their July 8, 2021 Carolinas junior ranking.  Being invited does not guarantee entry into the tournament.  *Class of 2021 will be removed to create invited list.

Format

The championship format is 36-holes of stroke play.

Divisions

Players will compete in divisions based on gender; there are no age divisions.

Course Setup

Boys will play from approximately 6,626 yards par 70  View Yardages

Girls will play from approximately 6,048 yards par 72   View Yardages

Players must walk during practice rounds.
Electronic Measuring Devices Players may use an approved measuring device during this event.
Push/Pull Carts Push carts are allowed
Caddie Information Caddies are not allowed.
Spectator and Parent Policy Spectator Information: Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $30 per cart. Spectator carts are restricted to the cart path at all times.
Parent Policy: Spectators must remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event by contacting the CGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to the day of the tournament.  If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from CGA events for 1 year.
Refund Policy: A $20 administrative fee will be charged to all withdrawals.
Prizes Trophies are awarded to the top four players in each division.
