Stroke Play Season Long Match Play Qualifier

REGISTRATION

ENTRY FEE

Option #1 - $110:	Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, & gift certificates.
Option #2 - $150:	Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, gift certificates AND season long match play fee.

NOTE: Teams registering for Option #2 are opting in to ATTEMPT to qualify for season long match play.

REFUND POLICY

Players will have up to 2 days (48 hours) AFTER the registration closing date to request a refund and will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee, regardless of reason. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received after 2 days (48 hours) after the registration closing date.

ELIGIBILITY

Entries are open to any amateur golfer, male or female, holding an active NOGA/GHIN Handicap Index® at the time of registration and competition from an authorized NOGA member club. Entries are subject to the approval or rejection, at any time, by the NOGA tournament committee at its discretion. Players must be 19 years of age on or before the date of competition. HANDICAP INDEX LIMIT

5.4 or lower for ALL Scratch Series tournaments.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

FORMAT

An individual stroke play competition, in which each player competes against all other players in the division. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and its decisions, by the NOGA Hard Card and the terms of competition. Rule 1.3B states that players are responsible for applying the rules to themselves.

SEASON LONG MATCH PLAY

After the Stroke Play Qualifier is complete, the top 32 players from each division (Open, Senior, & Super Senior) who registered for Option #2 will be seeded into brackets by GROSS score and will play matches against the other qualifiers within the division throughout the season. Each Stroke Play match is played at GROSS. No handicaps will be applied.

SEASON LONG MATCH PLAY DEADLINES

ROUND OF 32	Sunday, June 26
ROUND OF 16	Sunday, July 17
QUARTER-FINALS	Sunday, August 7
SEMI-FINALS	Sunday, August 28
FINALS	Sunday, September 25

FIELD SIZE

100 Players If the event is full, players can still register and be placed on the Waiting List. Players will NOT be charged until they have been moved from the Waiting List to the Tournament Roster.

HANDICAP INDEX

5.4 or lower

DIVISIONS

Scratch Division:	Must have a Handicap Index of 5.4 or lower
Senior Scratch Division:	Must have a Handicap Index of 5.4 or lower. To compete in the Senior Division, players must be between 55 years of age on or before the date of the competition.
Super Senior Scratch Division:	Must have a Handicap Index of 5.4 or lower. To compete in the Super Senior Division, players must be 65 years of age on or before the date of the competition.

Tee Yardages

Scratch Tee:	Approx. 6,600 Yards
Senior Scratch Tee:	Approx. 6,300 Yards
Super Senior Scratch Tee:	Approx. 6,000 Yards
Scratch Women's Tee:	Approx. 5,600 Yards
Senior Women's Tee:	Approx. 5,300 Yards

PAIRINGS & REQUESTS

Pairings will be posted to NOGA.org and sent to players after registration closes. If you would like to request a specific tee time, please contact Sean Croell at scroell@noga.org. Groups with players all from the same club will not be permitted to keep the competition fair.

STARTING TIMES

Begin at 9:00 a.m. off #1

GIFT CERTIFICATES

During registration, players will choose the club/facility they wish to have gift certificate winnings sent to. Please allow 2-3 weeks after the event for gift certificate winnings to arrive at the chosen club/facility.

TIES

In the event that there is a tie, NOGA will retain the tie, unless otherwise noted in the specific tournaments terms of competition.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Points will be awarded for the NOGA Player of the Year award. Refer to the "Player of the Year" tab in the menu above to view POY Points Allocation and Standings.
