REGISTRATION

ENTRY FEE

Option #1 - $220:	Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, & gift certificates.
Option #2 - $300:	Entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, gift certificates AND season long match play fee.

NOTE: Teams registering for Option #2 are opting in to attempt to qualify for season long match play.

REFUND POLICY

Players will have up to 2 days (48 hours) AFTER the registration closing date to request a refund and will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee, regardless of reason. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received after 2 days (48 hours) after the registration closing date.

ELIGIBILITY

NOGA Tournament entries are open to any amateur golfer, male or female, holding an active NOGA/GHIN Handicap Index® at the time of registration and competition from an authorized NOGA member club. Entries are subject to the approval or rejection, at any time, by the NOGA tournament committee at its discretion. Players must be 19 years of age on or before the date of competition. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

FORMAT

Net Four-Ball. Two players compete together as a side, each playing their own ball. The lower net score of the two players is the sides score for that hole. Per USGA recommendations, players will receive 85% of their course handicap. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and its decisions, by the NOGA Hard Card and the terms of competition. Rule 1.3B states that players are responsible for applying the rules to themselves.

COURSE & PLAYING HANDICAP

Each player's course handicap will be determined by their selected tee. For the Net Four-Ball Qualifier, 85% of the players course handicap will be used to determine the playing handicap for the round.

Based off the tee set selected by the player their course handicap will be determined. Then using the handicap of allowance of 85% for a stroke play four-ball the playing handicap will be determined for the round. If the difference in a team's playing handicap is greater than 10 strokes, we will reduce the higher playing handicap so that the difference between the team's playing handicap is 10 strokes.

Example:

Player A has a Handicap Index of 7. Below is their Playing Handicap based off their selected tee and the handicap allowance of 85% for a four-ball stroke play.

If Player A selects the NOGA Black Tee (Slope: 127 / Course Rating: 70.7 / Par: 72) then their Playing Handicap would be 6.

If Player A selects the NOGA White Tee (Slope: 122 / Course Rating: 69.0 / Par: 72) then their Playing Handicap would be 4.

If Player A selects the NOGA Green Tee (Slope: 116 / Course Rating: 68.3 / Par: 72) then their Playing Handicap would be 3.

MATCH PLAY

After the Old Pal Qualifier is complete, the top 32 teams who registered for Option #2 will be seeded into brackets by NET score and will play matches against the other qualifying teams throughout the season. Each Net Four-Ball match played during the course of the season will be played at 90% of the player's full, current handicap as of the day of the match.

FIELD SIZE

55 Teams/110 Players. If the event is full, teams can still register and be placed on the Waiting List. Teams will NOT be charged until they have been moved from the Waiting List to the Tournament Roster.

PAIRINGS & REQUESTS

Pairings will be posted to NOGA.org and sent to players after registration closes. If you would like to request a specific tee time, please contact Sean Croell at scroell@noga.org. Groups with two teams from the same club will not be permitted to keep the competition fair.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

During registration, players will choose the club/facility they wish to have gift certificate winnings sent to. Please allow 2-3 weeks after the event for gift certificate winnings to arrive at the chosen club/facility.

TIES

In the event that there is a tie, NOGA will retain the tie, unless otherwise noted in the specific tournaments terms of competition.
