Player Information

Registration Opens to ALL PLAYERS May 16 at 8:00 pm
Registration Deadline June 29 at 11:59 pm
Entry Fee TYGA Members: $50 per player
Non-Members: $65 per player
Optional Dogwood Boys' Qualifier Additional $35 entry fee. Number of qualifying spots determined after the close of entries.

Championship is on July 18-20, 2023 at Bentwinds CC in Fuquay-Varina, NC.

Eligibility Entry is open to any female and male amateur golfer ages 12-18 who has not started college and is a legal resident of North Carolina. 
Format Individual 18-hole stroke play with a maximum score of 8 on each hole.
Field Size 90 players maximum
Starting Times 8:00am on hole #1 and #10
Starting times will be posted 5 days in advance of tournament date.
Divisions Boys' 12-13
Boys' 14-15
Boys' 16-18
Girls' will be divided into divisions based on the number of entries.

TYGA reserves the right to modify divisions based on entries.
Course Setup All boys 14-18 - Blue tees
All girls & All Boys 12-13 - Green tees

Yardages are subject to change.
Caddie Information Caddies are NOT allowed.
Electronic Measuring Devices Players may use an approved measuring device during this event.
Push/Pull Carts Push carts are allowed and encouraged at all TYGA tournaments.
Practice Round Info Available July 1-10.  Cost is $10 walking (additional fee for cart.  Must call 3 days in advance to schedule.  After 12pm for weekends and holidays.
Parent & Spectator Policy Spectator Information: Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $14.75 per cart. Spectator carts are restricted to the cart path at all times.
Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. View our Parent & Spectator Policies for more information.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event online or by contacting the TYGA office at 910-725-4235 prior to the day of the tournament.  If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from TYGA events for 1 year.
*NEW* Refund Policy: Withdrawals submitted TWO Days Prior or more from tournament date will receive a refund of the entry fee minus a $20 administrative fee regardless of reason if entry accepted into the tournament. Withdrawals submitted less than two days before the tournament will not receive any refund.
Prizes Medals are awarded to each divisional winner, runner-up and second runner-up.
Tournament of Champions Invitations for the 2023 Tournament of Champions will be extended to all division winners in each TYGA One-Day and Multi-Day events.
Handicap Posting TYGA does not post one day tournament scores to player's GHIN handicap record.
