Player Information

Registration Opens to TYGA Members May 15 at 8:00 pm
Registration Opens to Non-Members May 22 at 8:00 pm
Registration Deadline June 21 at 11:59 pm
Entry Fee(s) TYGA Members Age 12-18: $25 per player
Non-Members Age 12-18: $40 per player

TYGA Members Age 6-11: $20 per player Non-Members Age 6-11: $35 per player
Eligibility Entry is open to any female and male amateur golfer ages 6-18 who has not started college and is a legal resident of North Carolina. 
Format Players Age 12-18: Individual 18-hole stroke play with a maximum score of 8 on each hole.

Players Age 6-11: Individual 9-hole stroke play with a maximum score of 8 on each hole.
Field Size 72 players maximum
Starting Times Starting times will begin at 9:00 AM off #1 and #10. Starting Times will be posted 5 days in advance of tournament date.
Divisions Ages 11 & Under
Boys' 12-13
Boys' 14-15
Boys' 16-18
Girls' will be divided into divisions based on the number of entries.


TYGA reserves the right to modify divisions based on entries.
Course Setup Ages 11 & Under: Red Tees
Boys' 14-15 & Boys 16-18: Blue Tees (6270 yards)
Boys' 12-13: Yellow Tees (5397 yards)
All Girls' Divisions: Yellow Tees (5397 yards)

Yardages are subject to change.
Practice Round Info Availability: June 22

Caddie Information Players age 12-18: Caddies are NOT allowed.

Players age 6-11: Caddies are recommended and must be 16 years of age or older.
Electronic Measuring Devices Players may use an approved measuring device during this event.
Push/Pull Carts Push carts are allowed and encouraged at all TYGA tournaments.
Parent & Spectator Policy Spectator Information: Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $20 per cart. Spectator carts are restricted to the cart path at all times.
Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. View our Parent & Spectator Policies for more information.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event online or by contacting the TYGA office at 910-725-4235 prior to the day of the tournament.  If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from TYGA events for 1 year.
*NEW* Refund Policy: Withdrawals submitted TWO Days Prior or more from tournament date will receive a refund of the entry fee minus a $20 administrative fee regardless of reason if entry accepted into the tournament. Withdrawals submitted less than two days before the tournament will not receive any refund.
Prizes Medals are awarded to each divisional winner, runner-up and second runner-up.
Tournament of Champions Invitations for the 2023 Tournament of Champions will be extended to all 18 hole division winners in each TYGA One-Day.
Handicap Posting TYGA does not post one day tournament scores to player's GHIN handicap record.
