124th Met Amateur Championship Registration opens on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
Registration and payment for Met Am SQR CT must be submitted by Friday, June 17, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
Registration and payment for all other qualifiers must be submitted by Sunday, June 21, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

| Format | 36-holes of stroke play on Thursday, July 30, followed by match play for 16 qualifiers (tie for onsite medalist prize will be determined by low p.m. round, then USGA matching of cards). |
| Match-Play Format | General numerical draw will be used. For purposes of determining places in the draw, ties in the qualifying round will be decided by a blind draw, except that places of those participating in a play-off will be determined by the order of finish in the play-off. |
| Eligibility | The competition is open to amateur golfers who are members of an MGA Member Club. A person who does not reside in the MGA territory and who is not a full-time student or employed in the MGA territory, cannot join an MGA Member Club for the purpose of entering the Met Amateur Championship. All entrants must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 5.0 under the World Handicapping System and are subject to the MGA Rules and Regulations. |
