Player Information

IMPORTANT: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the CGA/TYGA will place all tournament entries on a “Pending List” in the order they are received. 

This means you can effectively hold a spot in a tournament without being charged. Once we confirm that the tournament will be played as scheduled, or played at a rescheduled date your credit card will be charged.   If you wish to withdraw at any time prior to the event, you will receive for a full refund with no admin fees.  We hope this eases your concern about losing any fees for just signing up for a CGA/TYGA event.  Now you have nothing to lose!  Thank you for your patience and support during this very challenging time for everyone.

Entry Fee(s) TYGA Members $25 per player
Non-Members $40 per player
Eligibility NC junior golfers who are 12-18 years of age as of the tournament date and have not started college.
Format Individual 18-Hole Stroke Play.
Starting Times 8 am double tee start.
Will  be posted 7 days in advance of tournament date.
Course Setup Boys' 14-15 & Boys' 16-18  Slate tees (6,628 yards, par 71, 71.2/134)
Boys' 12-13  Green tees (5,323 yards, par 71, 65.8/117)
All Girls'  Green tees (5,323 yards, par 71, 70.9/128)
Field Size 84 players maximum

Electronic Measuring Devices Players may use an approved measuring device during this event.
Push/Pull Carts Push carts are allowed.
Caddie Information Caddie Information: Players must walk at all times, but may use a caddy. Caddies must be 18 years of age or younger (no exceptions) and must walk at all times.
Spectator and Parent Policy Spectator Information: Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $TBD per cart. Spectator carts are restricted to the cart path at all times.
Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event by contacting the TYGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to the day of the tournament.  If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from TYGA events for 1 year.
Refund Policy: A $20 administrative fee will be charged to all withdrawals.
Prizes Medals are awarded to each divisional winner, runner-up and second runner-up.
Tournament of Champions Invitations for the Tournament of Champions will be extended to all division winners in each TYGA one day series event.
