|Eligibility||Entry is open to any male amateur golfer grades 9-12 (classes 2021-2024) who is a legal resident of North Carolina or South Carolina and has an active USGA GHIN handicap.|
|Format||36-hole stroke play|
Competitors compete in the overall and divisions based on high school class; Freshman/Sophomore and Junior/Senior
|Course rotation||Part of the field will play Cramer Mountain Club on Saturday and Gaston CC on Sunday. The other part of the field will play Gaston CC on Saturday and Cramer Mountain Club on Sunday|
Round one Saturday, March 27 - 12:00 pm - 2:30
Round two Sunday, March 28 - 8 am - 10 am
Starting times will be posted 7 days in advance of tournament date.
Cramer Mountain Club -
Blue tees (6,486 yards, par 72)
Gaston CC - Blue tees (6,600 yards, par 71 (#1 will play as a par 4))
Cramer Mountain Club-available March 1-March 26 when
space is available at a rate of $20(walking). Must call in advance to schedule
practice round starting time.
Gaston CC - available only on Monday, March 22 from 12 pm - 4 pm at a rate of $25. Players must walk during practice round and must call in advance to schedule starting time.
|Field Size||150 players|
|Acceptance||First 130 players to register are accepted into tournament. HV3 Foundation receives 20 spots in tournament field.|
|Electronic Measuring Devices||Players may use an approved measuring device during this event.|
|Push/Pull Carts||Push carts area allowed and encouraged at all CGA tournaments.|
|Caddie Information||Caddie are NOT allowed.|
|Spectator and Parent Policy||
Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $TBD per cart. Spectator carts are
restricted to the cart path at all times.
Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball.
|Withdrawal and Refund Policy||
If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event by
contacting the CGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to the day of the tournament.
If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be
suspended from CGA events for 1 year.
Refund Policy: A $20 administrative fee will be charged to all withdrawals.
|Prizes||Trophies are awarded to the overall champion and the top five in each division.|
