Format


This event is a three-day match-play competition. Amateurs will start in a Round of 32. Seniors will start in a Round of 16. Super-Seniors will start in a Round of 8.

Eligibility

The competition is open to amateur members of MGA Member Clubs in the nine county area and members of an MGA eClub that resides in the nine county area.

Amateur Division: All entrants must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 7.0 under the USGA Rules of Handicapping.

Senior Division: The Senior Division is for members who have reached their 55th birthday by July 6. Must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 10.0 under the USGA Rules of Handicapping.

Super Senior Division: The Super Senior Division is for members who have reached their 65th birthday by July 6. Must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 15.0 under the USGA Rules of Handicapping.

Carts/Caddies • The Amateur Division is a walking only Championship.
• Players in the Senior & Super Senior Division may use a golf cart.
• Players may bring their own caddie.
• Players may carry their own bag.
• Pull carts will be approved on a course by course basis, please consult the Memorandum to Players.
• It is strongly recommended that caddies wear shoes without spikes or tread.
• Final information will be released in the Memorandum to Players, which will be released prior to the event.
